  1. What can I use for payment on Kiwanis Transit?
    When you board a transit vehicle you can use ticket, pass or cash fare for payment of your ride.  

  2. Can I use a GRT Easygo Card on Kiwanis Transit?
    The EASYGO card is for travel on GRT conventional bus runs only.  Kiwanis Transit buses are not equipped with EASYGO card readers.Kiwanis Transit tickets and passes cannot be used on GRT conventional buses.  i.e. Route 21, Route 77 

  3. Can I bring somebody with me on my trip with Kiwanis Transit?
    ATTENDANT   -  If you require an attendant for assistance with your mobility needs, you may bring ONE attendant along free of charge.  An attendant is an able bodied person who boards and assists you from your pickup and return locations ONLY.

    COMPANION  - If you do not require an attendant, but have a travelling companion, you will be allowed ONE companion.  If this companion is someone who is not a registered user of the transit, they must pay the cash fare only. (cannot use tickets). This companion must board from your pickup and return locations ONLY. 

  4. Can I have more than one trip booked in a day?
    Kiwanis Transit allows one rider up to 4 one way trips in a 24 hour period.  

  5. What is the minimum time that a ride can be booked?
    A ride can be booked up to ONE MONTH in advance.  We recommend that all travel be booked a minimum 48 hours in advance, due to space availability.

  6. Can I travel with a pet or service animal on a transit vehicle?
    KT will allow small animals (i.e. cat or dog) in an appropriate carrying cage that is transported by a rider. 

    KT allows all service animals on our vehicles. If you have a service animal, please remember: The animal must be under your care and control at all times.  Service animals must not pose a risk to other passengers or to KT operators. If it is not clear that the animal is a service animal, the KT operator may ask you for a note from a regulated health professional stating that the animal is needed for reasons of a disability.Large animals are not allowed on vehicles. (Excluding service animals)

  7. Do I have to wear a seatbelt on the Kiwanis Transit vehicles?

    Yes it is mandatory to wear a seatbelt on all Kiwanis Transit services.
